Welcome to June
Welcome to June. Time is flying by. I have so much to do and so little energy. But today I'm going to try to focus and figure out exactly what steps I need to take to get everything done. Wish me luck!
Happy JUNE to both of you too! Gee, this year sure is speeding by... I can't believe my birthday's around the corner again! Once you get past a certain age birthdays just kinda lose their magic, huh?
Actually, I still LOVE my birthdays. When I was 25 I had a near-fatal illness. Decided that if I made it through the surgery I would NEVER complain about having another birthday. The only alternative to getting older was dying and I wasn't ready for that yet. :D
So, when my birthday comes, I enjoy it like a little kid -- and annoy the heck out of everybody who thinks I'm a fool and an idiot!
LOL Cie! It's no wonder you still enjoy birthdays after such an experience... sorry to hear what happened, but I guess it gave you an added respect for b-days that a lot of us get cynical about as we get older!
;)
I get more excited about my little girl's b-day than my own!
Woohoo, it's June, boy that snuck up fast! I didn't even realize it was June 1st until I read your post. Happy June everyone!
