Worked on a short story this weekend. I need to get back to the new book, but the story has been nibbling at the back of my mind, and I do have a publisher interested in it for an anthology. I just need to beef it up a bit to get the word count up. I also need to make sure that I have someone check some facts for me. I did some online research, but you have to be careful, because sometimes the online stuff isn't as accurate as it could be. Since I'm dealing with people's religious practices and culture as well as magic, I need to make sure I don't do something heinous.
As soon as my friend gets back on my fact checking, I'll finish editing it and send it off.
It's a romance. In fact, it's one of the most romancy things I've ever written.
We'll just have to see whether or not I've pulled it off properly.
