Good News

Good News, we got nominated for another big award. The RIOs are international reviewer awards. The competition is really fierce! We're up against really big names in the business (Katic Mac, Feehan, Kenyon). Ironically, the same ones we're up against for the other awards. It's pretty consistently the same books.

Whether we win or not (and let's face it, that competition is TOUGH) the nomination is liable to help sales. That makes me very happy.

Having a tough time concentrating today. I've cut down on my caffeine AND need to refill my meds, so I am a serious space cadet. It'll get better.

Review copies of Moon's Web were shipped out yesterday. Contracts for the book deal should be arriving any day. Need to send back the contract on the mystery anthology. Life is busy -- but that's a good thing.

That's so TERRIFIC! YAY! :)

Wow, sounds like you're pretty busy at the moment, lots of writing stuff going on. It all sounds great Cie.

I'm a little sore at the moment from painting yesterday and the day before! OWWWWWWWWW!

Anyway, have a GREAT day and HOWDY Jim, how you been?

Hi Cie, more good news for you and Cathy regarding the Sazi series, very good to hear!
Hi Yolanda, things are really rough here right now, I keep up a great front, so most people don't have a clue about it, but I lost one of my best Friends last week, he passed away last on Monday, I don't know if I mentioned it here before or not, but he was the one I went to visit in the hospital, in case I did mention it. The wake was the day after I got back from vacation. My Dad had his first surgery yesterday, he is immobile right now, hopefully he will recover in 6 weeks so he can have his second surgery and then hopefully recover fast and be in good shape. He is extremely uncomfortable right now. I have been sick as heck on top of it, I have a severe cough, stuffed up head, runny nose and I can't hear well, as my ears are all clogged up since I took the plane back from vacation (they never popped back again), I attribute it to the plane trip mixed with the bad cold thingy I have. Ug, can't wait till I'm well again and my Dad is done with his second surgery and home again. Sorry, to report the bad news today. Anyway things are good by you two and that's very cool to hear!

Jim, I'm so sorry about everything. It's so hard to lose a friend. I don't know what your spiritual beliefs are, but I do believe there's more after this, and it gives me a lot of comfort. Was your friend's death unexpected?

Give your father my best wishes. I've been down after surgery before. Uncomfortable is the polite way of putting it! Still it DOES get better, and I'm hoping that the surgeries will help your father get truly better in the long run.

Weird suggestion of the day -- take it or leave it at your pleasure. When my head was absolutely miserable and I was going to the chiropractor for my back he offered to adjust my ears. It was weird as all get out, and hurt for a couple minutes, but it was like it opened the floodgates and my whole head drained so much better after.

I'll keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there. Feel free to e-mail me (I think you have the address through werewolf cafe, but if not, post here and I'll e-mail it to you)just to talk. I may not have actually met you in person yet, but I consider you a friend.

Cie

PS Yolanda, how's the arm holding up? You went to the chiro the other day AND you've been painting...
